A Taste of Collaboration: Potters Table x KHEM Studios

At KHEM Studios, we believe that craftsmanship isn’t just about the materials we work with—it’s about collaboration, community, and the stories behind each piece we create. That’s why we’re thrilled to share the story of our latest partnership with Marta of Potters Table, whose expert eye and deep knowledge of artisanal cheeses brought a fresh perspective to our handcrafted wood boards.

For this collaboration, we focused on pairing our carefully made boards with a selection of the Hudson Valley’s finest foods. Marta styled a beautiful variety of cheeses, each with its own distinct story and flavor. The stars of the spread included:

  • Churchtown Dairy’s Wendell tomme cheese, with its rich and earthy tones.
  • Honey from Ray Tousey, a renowned beekeeper whose honey is as vibrant as the bees that make it.
  • Calderwood cheese from Talbott & Arding, uniquely aged in hay, which adds a subtle grassy note that’s a true testament to traditional cheese-making methods.
  • Julianna cheese from Talbott & Arding, a creamy and tangy delight that perfectly complemented the other selections.

Marta’s expertise in cheese brought a joyful energy to our photoshoot, filling the day with lively conversations about flavor profiles, pairing ideas, and the art of styling food. Her knowledge paired perfectly with the aesthetic of our wood boards, highlighting the natural beauty and craftsmanship that we put into each piece.

It was a day that celebrated more than just food and wood. It was about the connections we build—between makers, artisans, and the community that supports us. The collaboration reflected our shared values of quality, sustainability, and the importance of local craftsmanship.

Stay tuned as we share more about this project, including a video that captures the magic of the day. We’re excited for you to experience the beauty of cheese, wood, and collaboration, and we hope it inspires your next gathering.

Until then, explore our range of handcrafted boards and bring a touch of the Hudson Valley to your home.

Warmly,
The KHEM Studios Team
